i have read all previous threads about pms but i have not been able to do anything about it. i try to send a pm many times, but they always end up in the outbox and i have not gotten a reply from anyone so i am assuming that they are not being sent.

any help with this problem would be appreciated.

Its not the forum really, they haven't noticed it. If its in the outbox then consider it 'half' sent and it stays in your outbox until the recipients check their Inbox. If the msgs aren't displayed in the outbox but if the copy is archived in the "SentBox" then its sort of a confirmation that the message has been received.

In your case I think, the recipients have missed it, reasons: they haven't enabled email notifications for pms or the tiny pop-up notification which announces a new pm is disabled or being blocked by their browsers. That's the reason the pms go unanswered.

Just inform them in the threads to check their in-box.

Private messages that have been sent remain in the outbox, until the recipient opens the message.
